Saving the car at a fire at Calverton, Nottingham
On location in Calverton, Nottingham tonight for one of my lovely clients I was photographing a lady and the client in her kitchen. I noticed something bright orange flash outside the back door. Next door was on fire!
I grabbed my kit and hurriedly switched to ‘hot news’ photographer mode. Luckily no-one was hurt, not even the puppies or pet cat, as you can see by the photos.
The householders said it was some rubbish they had cleared out by their back door that had been deliberately lit, they have had trouble with local youths setting stuff on fire.
Talk about on-the-spot news gathering!
